ashley + nick | cairo estate | orange county wedding photography

When you want a platinum wedding, the Cairo Estate in Orange County is the place to go.  Managed by Estate Weddings + Events, the Cairo Estate is located in San Juan Capistrano, which is just north of San Diego (in OC).   For Ashley + Nick, this lovely venue was the perfect backdrop for their nuptials.
The wedding was elegant and classy, and being that it was Great Gatsby themed, blacks, whites, feathers, and lots of sparkle ruled the day.  Ashley’s dress was over-the-top beautiful, and the sequins detail and beading was intricate and stunning.  The bridesmaids’ dresses were a rich black, and while the color may be somewhat unorthodox for a wedding, they color fit perfectly with the theme, the venue, and the elaborate feather decorations and decor.

For this couple, unorthodox, over-the-top is their way.  Nick, when he proposed to Ashley, did so on the USS Midway.  He made it the ultimate surprise; he rented a helicopter, told her it was for his work, and then when they landed on the Midway, family and friends were there waiting to celebrate!  That is on the same lines as being right out of a movie!

This couple was super sweet, and their wedding was one of the most beautiful.  The estate was spectacular, and with the winding staircase and the market string lights outside, the couple and the location alike made for some wonderful photographs.
