We were recently asked to be a part of the Go Red for Women initiative (part of the American Heart Association. Go Red For Women encourages awareness of the issue of women and heart disease, and also action to save more lives. The movement harnesses the energy, passion and power women have to band together and collectively wipe out heart disease. Each year they hold a luncheon to raise money and support the organization through sponsorships and a silent auction. They included a fashion show with courageous survivors, a CPR class, and various learning opportunities to raise awareness so that everyone can detect early symptoms and help prevent them…
