janna + arif | la jolla engagement session | san diego wedding photography

 Janna + Arif  have been dating for a few years and it was in the last three months that Arif proposed to his lovely bride-to-be.   They are both in the medical field and met at work; he is a doctor, and she is a nurse.  Their bond strengthened over time, and their wedding is scheduled for March of 2014.

Interesting way I met this couple:  back in 2012, I was in Cancun photographing a wedding, and as it turns out, Janna and Arif are also friends with that couple!  Since that time, I have stayed in touch with Janna, and when it happened that they got engaged, I was happy to accommodate their engagement and wedding photography needs!

Janna loves the beach, and she had talked about how much she wanted engagement photos outside, at the beach, and in the sunset.  We even postponed some sessions just to make sure we got just the right light and cloud coverage!  It was worth the wait.  The pictures came out beautifully!

This couple is so sweet, and it was great to finally work with them!  Their small, intimate wedding, which again, will be this March, will be at the Powerhouse Park in Del Mar.  Stay tuned for more great pics of this adorable couple!
