It’s always exciting when another photographer trusts you to capture their family during a special time. I met Janae a few years back through a mutual friend at a convention, so when she visited San Diego recently for a family birthday celebration, I had the pleasure of photographing the whole group on the beach in Oceanside! They were all just visiting for the week and are scattered amongst the US, so getting this group together doesn’t happen often.  I was able to capture the kids mid-moment while they ran around in the surf, along with each family unit…and of course Grandma + Grandpa with the next generation. These are memories they will never forget, and I’m so glad I was able to be there and capture it all for them!
